Noori Studio makes clothes and homeware for the hours nobody else sees. Hand-block-printed in Jaipur, the same way it's always been done. It started because I missed having that craft in my own everyday life in the UK, so I went and brought it back.

Our story
Noori started with a fairly simple problem: I missed something, and I couldn't find it anywhere in the UK. Here's the full story.
I grew up in Pune, surrounded by craftsmanship I didn't think much about at the time because it was just what was around me. I always wanted to build something of my own out of that, something handmade. I just didn't have the nerve to actually start..
One grey afternoon in my London flat, I remember just missing colour. Not in an abstract way, I wanted the actual colours of home, the ones I'd stopped noticing when I lived there and only really missed once I didn't. That's genuinely where Noori came from. Not a business plan. Just wanting a bit of that back in my life, and thinking other people might want it too.
So that's what this is. Not really about the products, if I'm honest, more about keeping a connection to home going, and hopefully giving you a bit of that same warmth.

And that's how Noori Studio started. It's named after a love for India's craftsmanship, its colours, and the artistry I grew up around without fully realising it at the time. Every product comes from that same place, made by people who've been doing this work for generations, in the way it's always been done. What began as just wanting that closer to me has turned into an actual business, one I hope brings a bit of that colour and craft into your home too. If you end up buying something from Noori, I hope it's the start of something you keep coming back to.
